College Magazine Examples

One feature I like across all of the magazines is that they all use a colour scheme that fits within their house style. Another feature I like is they all use short cover lines that advertise what is within the magazine. I also noticed how the masthead is always at the top of the magazine. 

Pictures i took for my Practice Magazine

This photo is effective for the front cover of my magazine because the  blank background and space around the sides leaves room for more features to be added and for them to look clear. Although  the plain white background doesn't help the magazine stand out. 

This photo is effective because it is framed well and fits the UTC theme. The primary colour on the image is white which doesn't help it stand out from the main cover image.

This photo is effective because it is themed for holidays which adds to the exclusively and makes it feel more realistic. However  the pose in the image doesn't match the background.
